Description
OOJ Homecare Services is looking for compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Care Assistants to join our growing care team in Leeds.
As a Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to individuals in their own homes and community settings. You will help service users maintain their dignity, independence, comfort, and quality of life while supporting their individual care needs.
Full guidance and appropriate training will be provided to help you confidently carry out your responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate personal care and practical support.
- Assist service users with daily living activities.
- Support mobility and maintain a safe environment.
- Assist with personal hygiene, dressing, and grooming where required.
- Prepare meals and support healthy daily routines.
- Provide companionship and emotional support.
- Follow individual care and support plans.
- Observe and report any changes in a service user’s wellbeing.
- Maintain accurate and confidential care records.
- Work professionally with service users, families, and other care professionals.
- Promote dignity, independence, privacy, and choice at all times.
Requirements
- A caring, compassionate, and respectful attitude.

- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to providing high-quality person-centred care.
- Previous care experience is desirable but not essential for suitable applicants.
- Willingness to complete required training and follow OOJ Homecare policies and procedures.
